Watch: UAE President shares more tributes for the late Sheikh Khalifa

Abu Dhabi: President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan on Sunday took to his official Twitter account to pay tributes for the late Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

“Across the country, people & communities have been paying their own respects to the late Sheikh Khalifa. This united display of affection & admiration is a fitting tribute to a beloved leader who dedicated his life to the happiness & wellbeing of the UAE & those who call it home,” Sheikh Mohamed tweeted.

Embedded in the post was a video showing glimpses of how officials, students, members of various faiths and others also paid tributes and offered their condolences nationwide. The clip also showed scenes from the funeral of the late Sheikh Khalifa, who passed away on May 13 at the age of 73.
