Cabinet approves flexible working hours to activate role of parents in education process
Abu Dhabi: The UAE Cabinet has approved flexible working hours for Federal government employees for special occasions and circumstances related to the school year, such as parent teacher meetings and school-related activities.
The flexible working hours, approved by His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, will help activate the role of parents in the education process, and boost levels of family cohesion in society.
The initiative comes as part of the back-to-school policy that was launched by the Federal government at the beginning of the current school year.
