Arab Reading Challenge to be televised live

Mohammad attends signing of agreement to convert competition into Arabic television product



Dubai: His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, on Tuesday attended the signing of a partnership agreement between the Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives and Abu Dhabi Media Company to convert the Arab Reading Challenge into a pioneering Arabic television product.

The agreement also aims to offer a live coverage of the Arab Reading Challenge that enbales the audience to interact directly and watch the different phases of the initiative, its pre-final and the final competitions as well as the selection of the winners.

It aims to highlight inspirational examples of champions of reading in the Arab world, and highlighting the achievements of heroes and outstanding supervisors and schools.

The partnership aims to promote a culture of reading among Arab youth in order to nurture an Arab generation capable of revitalising the Arab civilization.

Shaikh Hamdan Bin Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of Executive Council, was present at the signing ceremony.
