US soldier dies in Iraq

Baghdad: The US military says an American soldier in Iraq has died of a noncombat cause.

A military statement says the soldier died on Saturday.

The statement released on Sunday says the soldier was assigned to Multinational Corps-Iraq, but does not elaborate.
