Gaza: The UN General Assembly has overwhelmingly adopted a nonbinding resolution demanding an "immediate and durable and fully respected cease fire" in Gaza.
The vote on Friday was 142-4 with eight abstentions but several countries said afterward their votes were not counted correctly.
Israel, the United States, Nauru and Venezuela voted against the resolution and wanted a stronger one.
