Gaza: An Israeli missile strike destroyed Hamas' Interior Ministry in Gaza City on Friday.
Hamas security sources and local witnesses said the building was empty at the time.
The four-storey building was flattened by the blast, which caused up to 20 casualties nearby.
Israel had tightened its closure of the Hamas-controlled Gaza Strip in response to cross-border rocket fire by militants, preventing even UN humanitarian supplies from getting in, officials said.
