Occupied Jerusalem: The Israeli military says its aircraft have struck a weapons-manufacturing facility and two smuggling tunnels in the southern Gaza Strip.

The military says Thursday's air strikes were in response to recent rocket attacks on Israel.

No injuries were reported in the Israeli attacks or from the rocket fire.

Israel went to war against Gaza militants last winter to quash eight years of rocket and mortar fire.

The attacks have decreased sharply.

But Israel says weapons and weapons-making components still reach militants through tunnels under Gaza's border with Egypt.
