Dubai Iraqi authorities have arrested a woman and seven men accused of plotting and executing the murder of her husband, a crime that has shocked the nation and left four children orphaned, security officials said.

According to security sources, the woman and her accomplices carefully planned the killing before disposing of the victim’s body in a hidden location. While investigators have yet to disclose the motive, they confirmed that the case remains under active investigation.

The brutal crime has sparked widespread outrage, with Iraqi media reporting that the wife was the mastermind behind the murder. Allegedly, she conspired with her lovers to kill her husband, believing they could bury the evidence — both literally and figuratively — and escape justice.

However, security forces tracked down and arrested all suspects, including the wife and her seven accomplices. They are now in custody and are expected to face trial as authorities work to uncover the full details of the crime.
