Istanbul: An earthquake measuring 5.1 on the Richter scale shook eastern Turkey on Wednesday at around 05:22 a.m. (0222 GMT), causing damage to buildings in the southeastern province of Adiyaman, the state-run Anatolian news agency reported.
There were no immediate reports of casualties.
