Saudi to discuss revaluing riyal

Riyadh: A Saudi Arabian council will discuss the revaluation of the riyal against the dollar, a newspaper reported on Saturday.

The Shura Council will meet on Sunday with the finance minister and the central bank governor, the Al Eqtisadiah reported.

The review of the riyal-dollar exchange rate of is a "necessity'', the paper quoted Osama Abu Gherara, deputy chairman of the Shura Council's finance committee, as saying.
