Dubai: More than 1,300 pilgrims representing 100 countries will be hosted by Saudi Arabia this year under the Guests of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Programme for Hajj, Umrah, and Visit.
Sheikh Dr. Abdullatif Al Al Sheikh, Minister of Islamic Affairs and General Supervisor of the program, said that this initiative reflects the Kingdom’s commitment to serving Muslims worldwide and promoting religious and cultural dialogue.
Saudi authorities have activated an extensive operational plan designed to provide pilgrims with the best care and services.
Participants will engage in spiritual, cultural, and academic programmes, including visits to key Islamic and historical sites in Mecca and Medina. They will also have the opportunity to meet with leading scholars and imams of the Two Holy Mosques.
Since its establishment in 1417H (circa 1996), the programme has welcomed nearly 65,000 pilgrims from 140 countries, offering comprehensive logistical, religious, healthcare, and cultural support throughout their pilgrimage experience.
Dr. Abdullatif emphasized that the program exemplifies Saudi Arabia’s generosity and aligns closely with Vision 2030, enhancing the Kingdom’s global presence and strengthening bonds with Islamic communities around the world.
