Saudi Arabia extends distance learning till end of semester

Dubai: Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Education has decided to extend distance learning to the end of the first semester, Saudi News Agency (SPA) has announced.

Dr. Hamad Mohammed Al Sheikh, Saudi Minister of Education, said the decision to continue with the distance learning was taken after the ministry evaluated the online learning process after five weeks of its implementation since the beginning of the school year on August 30.

The ministry submitted the results to higher authorities and the Ministry of Health before it made the decision to continue with online learning until the end of the first semester.
