Dubai: Qatar today announced 159 new cases of COVID-19, bringing the total number of confirmed infections in the country to 126,282.
No new deaths have been reported during the past 24 hours, keeping the country’s fatality tally at 216, the Ministry of Public Health said during its daily coronavirus update on Sunday.

The ministry also announced that active cases have dropped to 2,807 including 388 critical cases and 58 seriously ill patients who are still under intensive care.
An additional 4,344 people have taken PCR tests during the last 24 hours, pushing the total number of people tested across the country to 795,768.
