Two killed working on sewerage project in Muscat

Muscat: Two Indian workers died from asphyxiation while working on a sewerage network project in the Ghubra district of Muscat on Friday, according to Royal Oman Police (ROP).

Another Indian and three other Chinese workers, who were working in a four-metre deep pit, survived and were taken for treatment.

Work in the area has been stopped by the Al Haya Water.

The company is laying pipes for wastewater project in Muscat.
