The visa exemption applies to holders of all types of Omani passports and allows travellers to remain in Botswana for a maximum of 90 days.

Omani citizens planning to travel must ensure their passports are valid for at least six months from the date of entry and contain at least three blank pages, the ministry said.

Travellers were also advised to obtain health insurance covering the full duration of their stay.

The ministry urged citizens to ensure they meet the entry requirements before travelling to avoid any difficulties upon arrival.
