Indian dance legend Prabhu Deva to rock Muscat on Thursday

Dubai: Indian dance icon Prabhu Deva is all set to light up the stage at Muscat’s City Amphitheatre today (Thursday), in his much-anticipated debut performance in Oman.

Widely celebrated as Bollywood’s “King of Dance,” Prabhu Deva promises an electrifying night of music, rhythm, and breathtaking choreography — a spectacular showcase of talent and stage magic.

Affectionately dubbed the “Indian Michael Jackson,” Prabhu Deva will bring his trademark style, boundless energy, and world-class choreography straight from Chennai to the heart of the Sultanate. He will headline “Prabhu Deva’s Bash” — his first-ever live show in Oman, promising an unforgettable cultural experience for fans across the region.

Organised by Black & White Oman, in association with JMR Events and Mediasenze, the high-octane performance will feature Deva alongside a dynamic troupe led by renowned show director Harikumar of Shaa Entertainments.

Adding local star power to the night, Oman’s top singer Haitham Mohammed Rafi will open the show, setting the mood with a rousing musical performance.

Also joining the celebration is Salim Saed Salim Al Harrasi, famously known as Salim Sinbad, one of Oman’s most talented breakdancers, who will perform with two of his teammates.

For aspiring performers in Oman, this event is more than just entertainment — it’s a rare opportunity to share the stage with one of the biggest names in Indian dance. Selected young dancers from across the Sultanate will get the chance to perform alongside the maestro himself, fulfilling dreams born from years of admiration and practice.

As a special prelude to the big night, a charity fundraising dinner will be held on Wednesday evening at the W Muscat, in support of the Children First Association, combining star-studded glamour with a cause that matters. With a blend of Bollywood brilliance, Omani talent, and a touch of philanthropy, ‘Prabhu Deva’s Bash’ promises to be a night that Muscat won’t forget.
