Cairo: Oman said today that its overall infections of the coronavirus have reached 95,339, an increase of 628 cases in the country over the past 24 hours.
The Omani Health Ministry has also put the country’s total deaths from COVID-19 at 875, registering 10 new fatalities.

In recent weeks, Oman has eased several virus-related restrictions. In mid-August, Oman lifted a ban on night-time movement that was imposed to curb the spread of COVID-19. The sultanate plans to resume regular international flights as of October 1.
A state supreme committee tackling COVID-19 Tuesday voiced concern over a resurgence of the potentially fatal disease in Oman and abroad.
