Manama: A Bahraini court on Monday postponed the trial of a Kuwaiti national charged with breaking assembly laws to March 5.

The time will be used to obtain a report on the medical condition of Ali Al Anzi, the court said.

Local authorities said that 17-year-old Al Anzi was arrested on February 12 as he took part in an unlawful gathering at Bani Jamra, a village west of the capital, Manama, to block the street.

Al Enzi denied he was involved in anti-police activities and said that he had been dropped at Bani Jamra by a friend as they planned a trip to a desert camp.
