Bahrain has renewed its call for people not to go out unless for work or for buying food and medicines.

Cairo: Bahraini authorities have announced guidelines for exercising in public as part of the country's efforts to bridle the new coronavirus. Bahrain so far has reported a total of 1,952 virus cases including seven deaths.

The Interior Ministry said in a message that exercising should be done solo or duo, with physical distancing observed. The ministry also requested that children should not be brought along for exercising.

The ministry renewed its call for  people not to go out unless for work or for buying food and medicines in order to help contain the virus.
