Spanish Deputy PM Calvo says she has recovered from coronavirus

Calvo, 62, was hospitalized in March, Equality Minister Irene Montero also tested positive

Spanish Deputy Prime Minister Carmen Calvo has recovered from coronavirus, she said Tuesday on Twitter.

"I overcame the Covid-19 and return to work physically," she said in her post.

Calvo, 62, was hospitalized in late March. Equality Minister Irene Montero also tested positive for the virus.

Spain's coronavirus dealth toll rose to 18,056 on Tuesday from 17,489 on Monday, according to the Health Ministry.
