London: Britain's Prince Andrew attacked US President George W. Bush on Tuesday, saying that he was not listening to Britain throughout the conflict in Iraq.
Ahead of his 10-day visit to America, the prince said in an interview, that the Iraq war resulted in leaving the Britons with a “healthy scepticism'' to what is being said in Washington.
"If you are looking at colonialism, if you are looking at operations on an international scale, if you are looking at understanding each other's culture, understanding how to operate in a military insurgency campaign - we have been through them all," he said. "We've won some, lost some, [and] drawn some."
Britain has remained America's number one ally and the post-war situation in Iraq raised many to question: "Why didn't anyone listen to what was said and the advice that was given," said the prince.
