India: Police officer’s son found dead

Hyderabad: The son of an IPS officer was found dead at his home in Hyderabad in the south Indian state of Telangana.

Suresh Kumar, son of Ratna Kumar, a superintendent of police was found dead at home in IPS colony, Banjara Hills in Hyderabad.

Ratna Kumar was away in Guntur in connection with a court case when the incident occurred.

On getting an alert from the driver Punjagutta police rushed to the place and moved the body to Osmania Hospital.

Suresh Kumar was suffering from depression and it was suspected that he committed suicide by consuming poison, police said.
