Dubai: A 23-year-old IT engineer died by suicide on Monday morning in India, a tragedy that impacted Pune's Hinjewadi IT Park. Piyush Ashok Kavade, who worked at Atlas Copco, reportedly left a meeting after complaining of chest pain, then jumped from the building's seventh floor.

According to the reports, the incident, which occurred around 10.30 am, left colleagues and authorities stunned. Police quickly recovered a suicide note from the scene, revealing the man's last words: "I have failed everywhere in life. Forgive me." In a heartbreaking message addressed to his father, Kavade expressed feeling "unworthy of being his son" and apologized for his actions.

Piyush Kavade hailed from Nashik, Maharashtra, and had been working at the Hinjewadi IT Park for over a year. While his note did not explicitly mention work-related pressure or specific grievances, the Hinjewadi police have launched a thorough investigation to unravel the circumstances that led to this extreme step.

Talking to the media,Senior Police Inspector Balaji Pandre confirmed the incident, stating that all possible angles are being explored to understand the trigger behind the suicide.
