7kg gold smuggled from Dubai to Kerala

Kochi: As much as 7kg of gold, concealed in the petrol tank of a luxury car, was recovered in India on Friday after being smuggled from Dubai.

According to police, the car was imported to Kochi through cargo shipment from the emirate.

Police said this was the first such incident in the state in recent times.
