Jakarta: Former Indonesian president Suharto's health deteriorated again on Tuesday, days after he was rushed to hospital in critical condition, a doctor said.
Fluid has entered Suharto's lungs and his haemoglobin level has dropped, said Mardjo Soebiandono, head of the medical team at Jakarta's Pertamina hospital.
He said that Suharto had been given a blood transfusion.
Suharto was admitted to hospital on Friday, suffering from anaemia and low blood pressure due to heart, lung and kidney problems.
