Colombo: At least 18 people, including 11 children, have been killed in a bomb attack on a bus in Sri Lanka.
The Roman Catholic church said the bus hit a mine in the town of Mannar in the north west of the country
The Tamil Tiger rebels, who control large parts of that region, said the bomb was planted by the Sri Lankan army.
The army has denied any involvement in the blast.
