Woman died on the spot and three children with her suffered minor injuries
Ajman An Emirati woman died on the spot and three children travelling along with her suffered minor injuries as the tyre of the car she was driving burst and the vehicle rammed into a concrete barrier.
The accident took place on the Emirates Road, from Umm Al Quwain towards Ajman, early yesterday, an official at Ajman Police told Gulf News.

The 28-year-old Emirati was on her way to drop her son, six, and her sister's children, aged six and five, to their school in the neighbouring emirate, the official said.
The police operations room was alerted about the accident around 7am. Police patrol and ambulance rushed to the accident site, the official said.
The official said the Emirati's car, which was at a high speed, swerved, ploughed into the median and crashed into the concrete barrier after the tyre burst.
The Emirati died on the spot, while the children who suffered injuries and were rushed to Khalifa Hospital in Ajman.
An official at the hospital told Gulf News that the children were discharged from after receiving the necessary treatment.
Police officials have urged motorists to be careful when driving and abide by the rules.
