With love from special needs children
Dubai: The world's largest 'love note' written by special needs children will be presented to His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, during a rally in held in December.
A 12-square metre of leather with the messages in gold, the 'Resalat Hob' or Love Note will be the largest love letter in the world, an initiative organised by Rashid Pediatric Therapy Centre in appreciation of Shaikh Mohammad's efforts in helping people with special needs worldwide.
Arab Media Group (AMG) and Al Deyaa Media Production have signed partnership to appoint AMG as a media sponsor for the Love Note campaign.
"It is a unique idea demonstrating the cohesion among all society groups under the umbrella of loyalty and affiliation to UAE and its leadership," said Abdul Latif Al Sayegh, AMG chief executive in a press conference held at Burj Al Arab Hotel.
The rally will start from the Rashid Paediatric Therapy Centre to Zabeel Palace to introduce the note to Shaikh Mohammad.
The cooperation between the centre and AMG "will draw the attention towards the event indicating that it will transfer our appreciations of the humanitarian endeavour made by Shaikh Mohammad," said Ahmad Al Khoury, Founder of Rashid Pediatric Therapy Centre.
Children with special needs from across the UAE are taking part in this competition and the winners of the competition will get financial rewards and the first winner will have his/her letter posted on the Love Note to Shaikh Mohammad, said Mariam Othman, Director of the Centre.
