Dubai: UAE residents woke up to scattered light rainfall on Friday morning, with showers reported in Khor Fakkan (Sharjah), Dhudna, and Al Fuqait (Fujairah), according to the National Center of Meteorology (NCM).

The coolest spot in the country was Raknah in Al Ain, where the temperature dipped to a brisk 16.6°C at 5:45am.

Today's forecast suggests mostly clear to partly cloudy skies, with low clouds expected to form over northern and eastern areas. Humidity levels will rise by nightfall and into Saturday morning, particularly along the coast, with a chance of mist. Winds will remain light to moderate, occasionally freshening, while sea conditions in the Arabian Gulf and Oman Sea are expected to be moderate to slight.

Looking ahead to Saturday, the NCM predicts fair to partly cloudy conditions, with a chance of convective clouds bringing rainfall over eastern and northern regions. Humidity will persist overnight into Sunday morning, potentially leading to fog or mist in some coastal and internal areas. Winds will blow from the southeast to northeast at speeds ranging from 10–25 km/h, gusting up to 40 km/h. The sea will remain relatively calm.
