UAE weather: Partly cloudy skies, increase in temperatures, humidity to hit 90 per cent

Winds are expected to blow dust and sand into the air

Dubai: The weather across the UAE will be slightly warm and humid today, according to the daily weather forecast by the National Center of Meteorology (NCM). Today, temperatures across the country see a gradual increase, skies across the UAE are expected to be sunny and partly cloudy at times.

The maximum temperature in coastal areas is expected to go up to 39°C. In internal areas, temperature highs will be between 34-37°C. The highest temperature recorded yesterday was 39°C in Sweihan (Al Ain) at 2.15pm.

In Abu Dhabi and Sharjah, the temperatures are currently similar, reaching up to 31°C. Coastal areas may feel muggy due to increased humidity, especially in the afternoons. 

Winds will be light to moderate from the southeast, shifting to the northeast by night. These winds may intensify at times, leading to blowing dust, with speeds ranging from 10 to 20 km/h, potentially reaching up to 40 km/h over the sea by late night. The sea will be slight in the Arabian Gulf and in Oman Sea.
