NCM issues warning for reduced visibility due to strong winds, sandstorms in coastal areas
Dubai is experiencing sunny to partly cloudy skies this afternoon, with temperatures reaching 31°C. The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) has issued an alert for fresh Northwesterly winds blowing at 40 km/h, causing dust and sand to reduce visibility to less than 3000 meters in some coastal and internal areas, particularly westward, until 6 pm today, April 9.
The lowest temperature recorded this morning was 14.2°C in Raknah, Al Ain, at 5.45 am.
Looking ahead, the NCM forecasts fair weather tomorrow, with a gradual rise in temperatures. Winds will shift from light to moderate Northwesterly to Southeasterly, reaching speeds of 10–20 km/h, with gusts up to 30 km/h. The sea will remain relatively calm in both the Arabian Gulf and Oman Sea.
