Rain, winds hit parts of UAE

Dubai: Scattered rain has been reported from different parts of UAE on Friday.

In Dubai, rain and windy conditions were experienced in Mirdif, Rashidia and International City. 

National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) has reported rain in Al Heli and center of Al Ain city.

In Dubai, moderate rain has been reported in Deira and Al Qusais also. 

NCM has forecast towering clouds formation which may associate with rainfall and fresh winds.

In a statement, the centre also warned of poor visibility which is expected to be less than 2000 metres at times over some of eastern and internal areas until 10 pm today.
