Rain today and Friday, with more foggy mornings

Dubai: UAE residents woke up to a foggy morning on Thursday, while weathermen expect more rain over the UAE's north-eastern areas today and tomorrow, Friday.

Heavy mist blanketed parts of Sharjah, Dubai, Umm Al Quwain-Ras Al Khaimah Road early on Thursday. 

Meanwhile, weathermen said it will generally be hot during daytime — but mild during night and mornings, giving residents the chance to increasingly enjoy outdoor recreation.

The weather from Thursday to Saturday will generally remain fair and hazy at times, they added.

Meanwhile, the National Centre for Metrology and Seismology (NCMS) sees more fog formation over the UAE’s northern coasts, especially on Saturday morning.

Over the weekend, low clouds are expected over the Eastern areas.

These may also be associated with rain during the afternoon over the mountains between today and Friday.
