Mohammad Usman has been named the captain of the UAE under-19 team for the Youth Asia Cup, to be held in Kathmandu, Nepal, from October 11.
The Emirates Cricket Board announced a 14-member team with Abdullah Hanif as vice-captain. Eight teams are taking part in the event namely Malaysia, Qatar, UAE, Kuwait Nepal, Singapore, Oman and Maldives.

Mohammad Usman (captain), Abdullah Hanif (vice-captain), Vivek Reji Thomas, Faisal Amin, Naeemuddin, Sameer Zia, Imran Butt, Mohammad Abdullah, Leon Glen Carlo, Mohammed Aosaf Ali, Abdul Rahman (wicketkeeper), Farukh Abbas Kazmi, Amir Hussain and Fahad Afdhal. Reserves: Imran Khan, Ali F. Poonawala, Riaz Khaliq and Abdullah Afzal.
