UAE soldier dies from injuries in Yemen military operation

Abu Dhabi: Emirati soldier Khamis Rashid Al Abdouli died from injuries sustained in a military operation in Yemen, the UAE Armed Forces announced on Sunday.

Al Abdouli was wounded in an incident in Maarib in September during the "Operation Restoring Hope" in Yemen.

The soldier was receiving treatment in a hospital in Germany.

The UAE Armed Forces expressed its heartfelt condolences to Al Abdouli’s family.
