UAE National Day fireworks 2025: Where to watch

Dubai: The UAE is ready to light up the skies for its 54th National Day (Eid Al Etihad). From November 27 to December 3, cities across the Emirates will host fireworks, parades, concerts, and cultural events, celebrating the country’s founding on December 2, 1971. Here’s where you can catch the best displays this National Day.

In Dubai, Global Village will host nightly fireworks from December 1 to 3 at 9pm, complemented by UAE-themed drone shows on December 1 and 2. The main stage will feature the theatrical dance operetta From the Desert to the Stars, performed twice daily, alongside traditional Yola and Harbiya shows. Khalid Mohammed will perform live on December 1 at 9pm. Standard entry tickets apply.

Meanwhile, The Beach at JBR will also light up on December 2 at 9pm, with good viewing spots along the beach and the waterfront of nearby Bluewaters Island.

In Abu Dhabi, the Yas Island Waterfront will host two nights of fireworks on December 2 and 3. Festivities begin at 3pm with cultural performances, falconry demonstrations, and the Flag Garden showcasing 54 flags. Visitors can also explore Emirati handicrafts, henna, calligraphy, coffee portraits, local cuisine, and a classic car exhibition. Each evening will culminate with a fireworks display at 9pm. Entry is free, though registration on the Yas Bay website is recommended.

The Emirates Palace, Mandarin Oriental will host its own fireworks show on December 2 at 9:15pm. The hotel’s celebrations run from November 29 to December 3 and include children’s activities, art workshops, and daily façade illumination from November 30 to December 4, featuring colorful patterns in tribute to the UAE. On December 2, visitors can also enjoy traditional Al Ayala dance performances from 4pm to 10pm, while children participate in pottery workshops.
