UAE move into final

The UAE national football youth Under-17 team reached the final of the International Friendly Youth Football Tournament in Tehran after they defeated Uzbekistan 3-1 in the semifinals held at Bakhti stadium yesterday.

Abdullah Al Noubi scored two goals for the UAE who dominated the match from the word go. They performed in a fine way and deserved to reach the final.

Osama Jafar sealed victory for the UAE by scoring the third goal. The UAE meet Saudi Arabia in the final which will be held on Friday.

The Saudis beat Azerbaijan in the second semifinal held yesterday.
