Abu Dhabi: Municipality of Abu Dhabi City (ADCM) has announced that timings for traffic signals at some junctions have been adjusted. The signals at the busiest junctions along the Tourist Club area, the intersection of Al Salam Street with Al Falah Street, Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank toward Meridien Hotel, and the alternative routes have been adjusted, said a press release issued by ADCM.

The closure of Al Salam Street in front of the municipality building recently affected the traffic situation in the area. As a result, a new alternative route has been opened.

ADCM has added a number of signs to alert and direct drivers to the alternative routes which have been opened. Road directions have also been placed at some of the busiest intersections. Alternative routes have been created to facilitate traffic and help road users reach their destination easily. Trucks and heavy vehicles are not allowed during peak times, which is from 6am to 8am.
