Traffic jam on Shaikh Zayed Road toward Dubai

Dubai: Slow-moving traffic was reported on Shaikh Zayed Road heading toward Dubai on Sunday.

Motorists' SMS to Radio 1 and Radio 2 traced the source of the jam at Exit 47, near the Oasis Centre, where a car has overturned on a sandy patch.

Four lanes have been closed, motorists said.

"Major traffic jam on Shaikh Zayed Road heading into Dubai... it goes all the way back to the Mall of Emirates," another motorist reported.
