Dubai: A quick glance inside the cockpit of the Volocopter during continued test flights in Dubai reveals that it is remarkably similar in space and size to that of a small compact car.

According to specifications listed by Volocopter, the two-seater aircraft touts a cockpit that is 1.21 metres high, is 1.25 metres wide and about 3.20 metres in length.

As suggested earlier by Roads and Transport Authority officials at World Government Summit in Dubai in February, a self-flying taxi would need to be spacious enough to carry passengers comfortably on short trips across the city.
