Emirates Road closed from Dubai leading up to Sharjah

Dubai: Dubai Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) in consultation with Dubai Police, announced late evening the closure of Emirates Road from Dubai leading up to Sharjah because of floods caused by heavy rains that have lashed the area.

Engineer Hussain Al Banna, Head of the Emergeny Committee at RTA, said that the authority has provided traffic signs to indicate to motorists alternative tracks which are open for use.
