Ajman plate number H2 goes for Dh1.65m

Ajman: Vehicle number plate H2 went for Dh1.65 million at an auction in Ajman on Saturday.

Organised by Emirates Auction, the auction saw 50 plates going under the hammer for Dh9.13 million.

All the plates on offer at the auction were from the ‘H’ series, which included some attractive numbers like (10) which got the second highest bid of Dh695,000, while the number plate (11) went for Dh660,000.

One of the most sought after plates was (69) that witnessed the second highest number of bids and was sold for Dh530,000, plate (21) went for Dh460,000.

Other prominent numbers that drew the attention of bidders at the auction include the number (999) which was sold for Dh400,000, (123) for Dh280,000 and (101) for Dh230,000.
