Three cars catch fire in Sharjah co-op parking lot

Sharjah: At least three cars were gutted in a fire in the parking lot of Sharjah Cooperative Society on Sunday evening, according to the police.

The fire started in one of the cars at around 6pm and spread to two other cars parked nearby.

Firefighters controlled the blaze and prevented the fire from spreading to other cars in the parking area, said Brigadier Abdullah Saeed Al Suwaidi, Director General of Sharjah Civil Defence. There were no injuries.
