Third Social Media Summit starts in Dubai

Dubai: The third Social Media Summit kicked off on Wednesday in Dubai.

International keynote speaker Fernando Anzures, CEO at Liquid Thinking Latam, started the summit by describing the present as "the era of socialization of things".

"If you want to understand social media, study people, not technology," he said.

Anzures pointed out that while there are currently over 350,000 apps, the average person has around six apps downloaded on their phone- with the majority using the same apps.
