The highly anticipated Arab Health 2025 exhibition opens today at Dubai World Trade Centre. The world’s leading healthcare event is celebrating its 50th anniversary since its inception in 1975.

50 years ago, Arab Health started out with just 40 exhibitors. The exhibition has now grown into a global healthcare powerhouse featuring more than 3,800 exhibitors and 60,000 visitors from over 180 countries. In 2024, the event was the platform for Dh9 billion in business deals – wrapping up a record-breaking year.

This year, Arab Health, running until January 30, will be bigger and better than ever before. With a newly expanded venue, the exhibition sees nearly 200 additional exhibitors on the show floor. Brand-new show floor features have been added including the Eco-Sphere, the Executive Networking Lounge, and the Healthcare Business Forums.

“As we celebrate the 50th anniversary of Arab Health, it is a fitting moment to reflect on the evolution of the UAE’s healthcare sector, which has developed alongside the nation’s growth over the past five decades,” says Solenne Singer, Vice President at Informa Markets.

Through strategic investments, the adoption of cutting-edge technologies, and international collaborations, the UAE has transformed its healthcare landscape, ensuring high-quality care for its citizens and positioning itself at the centre of medical excellence and innovation.

Arab Health has been at the heart of this journey, facilitating billions of dollars in deals in the past 50 years, fostering growth, knowledge exchange, and advancements that continue to shape the future of healthcare in the UAE."

Future Health Summit 2025

The Future Health Summit also returns to the Museum of the Future this year. The invitation-only event will take place on Thursday, January 30, and esteemed senior government officials and CEOs from the healthcare sector will attend.

This year’s summit will focus on AI in Action: Transforming Healthcare Delivery, addressing key questions, concerns, and opportunities of AI. Some world-renowned speakers include Dr Scott Penberthy, Dr Taha Kass-Hout, Prof. Elizabeth Churchill, and many more.

"AI in healthcare, though still in its early stages, is showing immense promise,” says Ross Williams, Senior Exhibition Director, Informa Markets. “Research is focused on developing advanced algorithms that leverage deep learning and machine vision, enabling the automatic correlation of patient data with clinical insights.

“Ultimately, AI has the potential to facilitate more timely and accurate diagnoses, improving patient outcomes, which is exactly what we want to address during the Future Health Summit.”

Career advancement opportunities

Medical professionals attending Arab Health 2025 will have access to 10 Continuing Medical Education (CME) accredited conferences, taking place at Conrad Dubai. The conferences are on total radiology, obstetrics and gynaecology, quality management and patient safety, general surgery, infection control, decontamination and sterilisation (CSSD), public health, HAYAT – the Annual Organ Donation and Transplantation Congress, and healthcare leadership by Samson Global Leadership Academy.

UCLA Health is hosting an invitation-only event: The Laker Excellence Collection. The event features Laker Legends Robert Horry and Michael Cooper as they discuss the UCLA Health and Los Angeles Lakers partnership, a collaboration that provides world-class care to elite athletes.

In addition, three new Healthcare Business Forums (non-CME) will take place: EmpowHer: Women in Healthcare, Digital Health and AI, and Healthcare Investment Summit.

Must-see at Arab Health 2025

The Village returns to DWTC, but this year, it has been expanded to accommodate larger numbers of visitors and exhibitors. It’s the perfect space to network in a more relaxed environment where food and beverages are available. The area will be open throughout show days and into the evening.

The 50th anniversary celebrations will kick off today and run daily throughout all show days. Make sure to stop by the digital memory wall and the photo booth to leave your mark in Arab Health’s historical milestone and create lasting memories.

Favourite features from previous editions, such as the Transformation Zone, are returning this year. Global experts will share their vision for the future of healthcare at the Transformation Talks, and entrepreneurs will pitch their revolutionary ideas to a panel of esteemed judges at the Innov8 competition.

Arab Health 2025 is supported by various government entities, including the UAE Ministry of Health and Prevention, the Government of Dubai, the Dubai Health Authority, the Department of Health, and the Dubai Healthcare City Authority.
