ABU DHABI: Year 7 and Year 8 students of Cranleigh Abu Dhabi are preparing to host a fun-filled Enterprise Fair at the school as part of a business project.

Proceeds from the fair will be given to the Red Crescent approved charity ‘Choice to Change’, which aims to educate children in Dhaka slums.

“The fair is part of a project driven by our Business and Economics Department to develop leadership and entrepreneurship skills among students, besides giving them a platform to donate to charity,” said Matthew Ford, acting headmaster, Cranleigh Abu Dhabi.

Business and compassion

The children have formed a ‘company’ with various responsibilities including managing director, marketing manager, production manager and finance manager. They will be coached by the Business Department in the skills necessary to organise and run the activities.
