Specifications for thermal insulation approved

The Buildings and Housing Department of Dubai Municipality has approved a list of technical specifications for thermal insulation systems in English and posted it on the web page for Thermal Insulation on the Municipality portal.

By providing these technical specifications the department strives to serve a large part of the construction industry, consultancy offices and building contractors who deal with the Municipality.

All individuals, engineering offices and contracting companies operating in Dubai will benefit from the publication of these specifications online, as they will be able to download them, said the department yesterday.

The technical specifications published online are from the Administrative Decree No. 66 of 2003 on Regulations of Technical Specifications for Thermal Insulation System and Control of Energy Consumption for Air-conditioned Buildings in the Emirate of Dubai.
