Solanki breeze into final

In a low scoring match, Solanki beat Dulsco by 3 wickets in the semifinal of the AJ Invitation League 'B' Division 2001-2002, conducted by the Sharjah Cricket Council. In the final, they will meet Wellfit Kasargod for the ultimate clash.

Dulsco batted first and in a pedestrian display could muster a modest 138 for 8 in 25 overs.

Skipper Sajid Butt (46) top scored for them while Ajit (21), Mohammed Azeem (27) and Jahangir (22 n.o.) propped up the innings. Umar (2 for 18) and Abdul Salam (2 for 16) bowled well.

Solanki, in reply, batted sensibly and achieved victory by 3 wickets though towards the fag end of the day, fall of few quick wickets did enliven the proceedings.

Sayed (35), Umar (33) and Imran (22) were the principal run getters while Mehboob (2 for 40) and Rashid (3 for 28) took the bowling honours.
