Resuscitation conference set to begin

The Emirates and European Resuscitation Conference and Exhibition will start on Saturday at the conference hall in the Medical Authority building in Abu Dhabi.

The conference is being held under the patronage of Sheikh Hamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the Economic Department and President of the Abu Dhabi Medical Authority.

Ahmed Al Rumaithi, Technical Manager for Abu Dhabi Hos-pitals, and chairman of the conference, said that the conference, which will last five days, is the first of its kind in the UAE.

It will be attended by well known European professors, including the President of the European Resuscitation Council, Professor Peter Baskin.

The conference, which has attracted the interest of the international scientific and medical communities and a number of local groups, gained the cooperation of WAM Group, especially their medical division wawhealth.com.

Representative of university medical departments, Emirates World Health, Al Noor Hospital, Belhoul Apollo Hospital and Emirates International Hospital, the Ministry of Health, and the police, will be attending the courses.
