Dubai’s iconic mosques are glowing with breathtaking light projections throughout Ramadan, offering a mesmerising visual experience for residents and visitors.

This initiative, part of the ‘Anwaar Dubai’ project by Brand Dubai — the creative arm of the Government of Dubai Media Office — aims to celebrate the month of Ramadan with a fusion of art, culture, and technology.

The illuminated mosques include Jumeirah Grand Mosque, Al Khawaneej Mosque (Al Habbai), Sheikh Rashid Bin Mohammed Mosque (Al Hudaiba), and Zabeel Grand Mosque.

These dazzling displays showcase intricate designs inspired by artistic and cultural heritage, transforming the facades, minarets, and domes into radiant masterpieces.

A key highlight of this year’s #RamadanInDubai campaign, the project was launched under the guidance of His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Second Deputy Ruler of Dubai and Chairman of the Dubai Media Council.

Using cutting-edge lighting technology, the initiative enhances the city’s Ramadan celebrations while preserving its deep-rooted Emirati cultural identity.

Shaima Al Suwaidi, Director of Brand Dubai, emphasised that the project aligns with Dubai’s vision of blending art, technology, and cultural expression to enrich the urban landscape. She highlighted that ‘Anwaar Dubai’ not only captures the spiritual essence of Ramadan but also enhances Dubai’s aesthetic atmosphere, offering a truly immersive experience.
